The Spinning Top Museum is recommended by Tommy Smothers of the Smother's Brothers. The Top Lady, Judith Schulz, has appeared on Ripley's Believe it or Not TV and PBS' Wild Chicago TV; is the tops expert for the MGM film My Summer Story, the sequel to the classic movie A Christmas Story with Ralphie, and was the international guest top spinner at a festival of ancient games held in Europe. Every age enjoys spinning the tops! Try fast-action top games, make a top somersault, try a top like the American colonists used, see colors appear from nowhere, cause whistling from spinning, try the 1898-designed snake-top and more than 30 other varieties and oddities. Many of these are also available in our gift shop. |

The unique and lively program is best for adults, youth, children: ages 4-104.(We do not recommend the program for younger children, but if they attend, full admission does apply.) Individuals and families should call for the program times. Groups of 30-50 may schedule a visit at their convenience: year-round, weekdays, weekends, day or evening. Groups have minimum charges.
